GTA V Source Code Leaked Online

The source code for Grand Theft Auto V has finally been posted online

almost two months after the famous Rockstar breach that resulted in gameplay

videos from GTA 6 going public. No one truly knew what happened to the code

when it was initially taken during the same security incident. When the hacker was apprehended shortly after the September intrusion,

they admitted to having the files but declined to say where they had transmitted them.

Now that the GTA V source code has been posted on GitHub, users can access the files and play

around with them to develop exploits for the game.

Additionally, the source code includes deleted passages from GTA Online, development notes

and even pieces of Rockstar's anti-cheat programme. As a result, hackers may now quickly locate weaknesses in the game's source code and exploit them.
