In 45 American states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S.
Virgin Islands, a lottery game called the Powerball is played.
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time,
the Powerball lottery is drawn. Tickets cost $2 each to enter,
you may buy them up until 10 p.m. ET on the night of the drawing.
The actual drawing takes place in a Tallahassee Florida Lottery facility.
